Oh man, it’s been awhile hasn’t it? When I decided to finally write something, Texas is having a crisis, what a coincidence… Fire; this one-of-a-kind substance defines a lot about how our society stays alive: cooking food, keeping warm, and many other great things it does. However, great things come with a price. The price of watching tears fall from the faces of adults to kids as their eyes zoom into their house being consumed by this “thing” that keeps us alive everyday, crazy huh?
I can’t stress enough about how people are posting news about this crisis all over the social networking sites.. Is it just me that sees this or does everyone else too? I see that people “do this” cause they’re obligated to which kind of ties back to my pervious post about giving needy people money. “Are you doing it cause you want to, or are you just obligated too?” What I’m really trying to emphasize is that if you actually really cared about these people and their homes, you should be out helping them not wasting time posting “news” about it on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and etc. You might think that I don’t care since what I just said supports my earlier statement. I do care just like everyone else, but… WE JUST DON’T CARE ENOUGH.
